Happy New Year from Japan Tattoo.

As we begin a new year, we want to start with something real —
the voices of the people who actually walked through our doors.
In 2025, we were fortunate to welcome tattoo travelers from all over the world.
Different countries, different backgrounds, many first-time visitors to Japan — and for many, their first tattoo.
To capture those experiences, we introduced a guest book in our studio.

What started as a simple notebook has become one of the most honest reflections of who we are.
What Guests Actually Write in Our Guest Book

We don’t summarize. We don’t rephrase.
These are the words that appear again and again.
“Absolute best shop.”
“Highly recommend.”
“Super friendly and welcoming people.”
“Amazing tattoos, amazing people.”
“This was my first tattoo, and I felt completely safe.”

These messages come from people who searched for : an English speaking tattoo studio in Tokyo, a place they could trust while traveling.
Why These Words Matter

Anyone can say they are friendly.
Anyone can claim quality.
What matters is consistency.
When travelers who have never met us — often visiting Japan for the first time — independently describe the studio as:
• welcoming
• friendly
• safe
• professional
That tells you more than any advertisement ever could.
Tattoos as Part of Your Japan Experience

Many guests tell us they found Japan Tattoo while researching:
• things to do in Japan
• meaningful souvenirs beyond photos
• lettering, kanji, or inspiring Japanese quote tattoos (👉Popular Tattoo Styles & Meanings in Japan (2025 Guide for Travelers) )
• safe tattoo aftercare while traveling ( 👉About aftercare)
A tattoo is permanent.
That’s exactly why people are careful about where they get one.
Our role is not only to tattoo, but to:
• explain designs clearly
• communicate expectations in English
• ensure proper tattoo aftercare, especially for travelers
• create an environment where first-time clients feel comfortable asking questions
The Guest Book Is Open to You

At the front of our guest book, you’ll see this message:
“We read every message.
Your words often inspire the next traveler who opens this book.”
That is not decoration. It is a fact.
If you visit Japan Tattoo, we invite you to leave your message —
whether it’s your first tattoo, your tenth, or simply a moment from your trip.
Your words help the next traveler make a confident decision.
Looking Ahead
We move into this year the same way we always do:
• no shortcuts
• no pressure
Just clear communication, solid work, and an open door.
If you’re planning your trip and looking for an English-speaking tattoo studio in Tokyo,
we’ll be here.
And if you’ve already visited — thank you for being part of our story 🙂
