It has been a few months since we’ve got back from our first ever overseas tattoo convention!
It was an honor for us to attend the biggest tattoo convention in the Philippines.
We would to say a big THANK YOU to the Dutdutan Team for inviting us!
We started off with registering our names and laying out our flash designs. We had already set up booth the night before.
To be honest, we weren’t sure how well we would do at a tattoo convention in Manila but we were pleasantly surprised to see how many people were interested in our flash!
We ended up being unexpectedly fully booked for the day!
Taiga and Ryo were working on the walk-in tattoos, while Kenjiro was doing his entry for the “Tattoo of The Day” category.
There were performances from various local artists, and the judging of competition entries next to the stage.
Our artist, Betty, was invited to be one of the judges!
Our artists also entered the “Small Piece” category (not judged by Betty)
Betty was very meticulous in her judging. She even brought a magnifying glass with her to the convention to look out for tiny details that could otherwise be missed.
Betty was also called up to present an award to one of the winners!
It was a really amazing experience, and we did not expect to receive the amount of attention we got. We are really grateful to everyone who was interested in our booth.

Thank you for helping us get to Dutdutan and making sure everything ran smoothly for us.
We had great fun at our first international convention and we were able to learn so much about the tattoo industry outside of Japan.
It was a great experience and we would love to be able to go to another overseas convention if we have the opportunity.
